About LVEE
A regular international meeting and a conference named «Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe» (LVEE 2007) took place at June, 14-17. The event combined both communication and active rest of the enthusiasts of free software in common and particularly of Linux.
LVEE 2007 was organized by Minsk Linux Users Group with support from Grodno and Brest activists.

Program
LVEE 2007 includes a three-day conference on free software, a concert and outdoor rest.
Conference
The three-day international scientific and practical conference, which is a part of the program, relates to different topics concerned to free software. Its format includes reports and workshops. Speakers will be provided with a conference hall, a projector and sound. Abstracts digest will be published in electronic form before the conference, as far as special edition of a 'Setevye Reshenia' magazine.
Correspondence participation in the conference is also possible: your article will be published in the 'Setevye Reshenia' special edition, devoted to LVEE-2007. Abstracts and/or full-sized articles should be sent before the May 5 for that. Reports sent after this date can be published only in next issue of the magazine. Authors of published articles will be paid standard fee by the magazine.
Authors of reports are free from paying the organization fee.
Organization board established the best report prize.
Abstracts submission deadline is June 1.
Authors are encouraged to get acquaintance with details of abstracts design and submission.
Abstracts of the past year are on hold [page is in Russian].
Place
The place is a "Himik" tourist camp near Grodno (as in year 2005).
Centralized delivery
Centralized delivery of participants will be organized from Minsk and from Grodno on the first day of the meeting, as far as centralized return on its last day.
Excursion
Grodno - one of the oldest cities of Belarus. Today it is a unique city with a lot of historical, architectural and cultural sites. We propose an excursion through the old part of the city. Details will be published later. Desire to take part in the excursion should be noted in participant's declaration.
Accommodation
LVEE Participants will be accommodated in double or triple rooms with modern conveniences, and will have in their use a conference hall with all necessary accessories, as far as playgrounds, the lake with a sand beach, sauna, plenty of pavilions and chargrills, fine pine forest and (!) no Internet access at all - thus there are ideal conditions for communication and rest.
Meals
Three daily meals are included in organization fee. Participants with special favors (diet, vegetarianism, etc.) should inform about that in advance, or bring their own food with them. Beer is to be paid separately.
Registration
We heartily invite participants of projects, concerned with development and spread of free software, as well as everybody who shares the philosophy of information freedom. June 1 is the last time for participation requests.

Organization fee
It equals to $25 (50 000 BRB) for one participant for four days (expenses for dwelling and meal are included in this figure). Reduced two-days form of participation is also possible (a weekend) and organization fee is $15 (30 000 BRB) for it.
Organization fee should be paid at registration. Conference speakers are free from paying it.
